Old Paint, Shorty, JD, and Barbie 1972
That is ol' Paint I am riding and Barbie (Barbara White) on Shorty.
Great pic, (except I am ugly). I thought I had the only copy of that pic
and had given it to Barbie. I bought Paint from the
Whitmire ranch. He had a bad habit of running away with you. Had to hold
back tight on reins nearly all the time. He run off with Ronny Reagan
right into a barbwire fence . Did a big flip sending the guy flying hard
on the ground. Ran off with Scooter Koonce. Ran all over the Snoga ranch
fast as greased lightning!!! I nearly ran over Dave & Travis both on
horses while working cows at Cuero. Dave told me I ought to sell him
before I got kilt!!! I did.
