Johnny Bedwell
He came from the tidal flats of Aransas Pass to work in the oil fields in Calliham and took Georgia Calliham away from her mother. But he only took her about a hundred yards down the road. If he hadn't, there would have been no Johnnydean and Lefty would have had to draw all those cartoons hisself.
Johnny Bedwell owned one of the first pop-up campers in the state, which he built with his own hands. That camper went everywhere in the 50's and 60's from Garner state park to Falcon reservoir on the Rio Grande.
