A clump of trees now occupy the site of the old Beeville Depot.
Railroad Walks
Beeville
The San Antonio and Aransas Pass railroad was the first railroad to
reach Beeville in 1886. In 1929, it was absorbed by the Southern Pacific. Today,
there is only a three block stretch of track inside the town.
Santa Fe
The Santa Fe Southern is a short line railroad that connects the capital of New Mexico
with the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe railroad, which despite its name, by-passes the
city by 18 miles.
